No. One on the list...

Yesterday me and my love went to the nearby textiles shop to buy ourselves fabrics for the matching engagement dress and suit:) It didnt took us that long since i already know what i wanted it to be for the majlis (engagement ceremony).

The colour and the theme would slightly look like this:

Pastel pink and pastel yellow! But overall it would be a jumble up of colours from pink, yellow, white and maybe silver-ish:) Hmm...i would like to add on the colour of lavender but i was a bit unsure and contemplating.Am afraid that with a dash of lavender it might ruin the whole concept of pastel pink-pastel yellow. However when i try to mix all the 3 colours (by using artificial flowers at home) the lavender was blending in quite well with the whole theme colour...but for now im sticking with the original theme:)

So there goes our first no.1 to-do that can be crossed off the list...MORE TO DO list coming up...

THE MAIN LIST (him&her)
  1. buy fabrics for our engagement dress & suit
  2. send our fabrics to tailor
  3. start buying 5 gifts for her for hantaran
  4. start buying 7 gifts for him for hantaran
  5. start arranging & decorating the hantaran
THE MAIN LIST (for her)
  1. start looking for a make-up doer (mak andam)
  2. start looking for an altar doer (pelamin) (if possible no.1 & no.2 should be together in the package, if not possible try to find both separately)
  3. catering services
  4. photographer services
THE SUPPLEMENTARY LIST (if possible)
  1. door gifts for guests
  2. videographer
  3. decorations
And trust me, the list doesnt stop there.More and more will keep popping up out of no where when the date is becoming nearer and nearer...but for now im trying to focus to get the main list done first.

To my love: Sayang byknye lagi yg kite belum buat.......:( *worried mode*

A wonderful journey begins...

Hello readers! This would be my first post for the beginning of my journey towards the day where one of my ring finger would no longer be ring-less! (another ring finger would be saved for a wedding ring:D) Im still trying to digest the fact that im gonna get engaged soon! (which is less than 3 months from now!)

The decisions was made out of the blue. There were talks but there was no proper planning along the way..and whenever we talked about it, it was more to a casual chit chat talking about where would we be in the next few years. However a few weeks past in a month of Ramadhan, somehow we were 'called' to make it really happen. I was stunned, stressed, panicked and what not to be but at the same time i do feel happy and exited. Im gonna tell you why later:) The irony is, 5 years back in the month of Ramadhan, is when the very first time we had met and got to know each other. Oh my......without i realizing it, somehow He always gives His blessings and His graciousness in the Holy month of Ramadhan for us... :')

I never expected that a call (seru) for me to be engaged came in a blink of an eye. With no proper savings and preparations, i doubt that this engagement can be done and would ever take place. That's why people said 'Once He has a plan for you there's nothing that can ever stop Him from making it happen'. Hence i guess im just gonna prepare in whatever i could and with whatever i have for the majlis bertunang (engagement ceremony) to be carried out accordingly. What matters the most is everything would fall into places and hopefully it'll run smoothly...Insya-Allah...:)
